A VISION FOR CHANGE
At the Sunflower Project, we are committed to empowering children and youth with the awareness, knowledge, and confidence to recognize and challenge exploitation in all its forms and adolescent gender-based violence—especially with the prevalence of the internet.
We believe that too often, harmful behaviours are normalized, misunderstood, or left unspoken, leaving young people vulnerable and unheard.
Through education, open dialogue, and youth-led advocacy, we aim to break the silence surrounding exploitation and create spaces where young people feel safe to ask questions, share experiences, and develop critical awareness. We focus not only on informing, but on equipping youth with the tools to think critically about the media they consume, the environments they navigate, and the systems that shape their understanding of relationships, power, and consent.
Free Resources
We have compiled free resources from partners that bring together educational materials, guides, and tools from trusted sources to help individuals learn about and prevent sexual exploitation, human trafficking, and gender-based violence.
