Our Story

Education for All

We prioritize accessible education so that even those who may not otherwise encounter these issues can understand them. We hope to provide clear resources that make complex topics informed and approachable.

Centering Youth Voice

We center youth voices in every space we enter. By creating platforms for open dialogue, we empower young people to lead, speak, and advocate with confidence on exploitation issues.

Founded in 2023, The Sunflower Project began by collaborating with organizations to amplify conversations around gender-based violence, sexual exploitation, and human trafficking. What started as partnership-driven advocacy quickly grew into independent initiatives—educational content, campaigns, and youth-led outreach—that expanded our impact and strengthened our commitment to education and prevention.

Now, more than ever, The Sunflower Project is dedicated to helping vulnerable populations like youth in education about exploitation.

Meet Our Youth Leaders

The Sunflower Project team is a dedicated group of young changemakers committed to this mission. We combine research, advocacy, and community outreach to create educational programs and empower individuals against injustices.

Driven by compassion and action, we work together to amplify voices too often silenced.
